Chef de Cuisine Cory Shupe

“Since I was 16, every component of the restaurant business has fascinated me!  Before, during and after completing my Bachelors Degree in Art from Illinois State University, I introduced myself to a multitude of work environments, all in the culinary arts field.  Those experiences ranged from functioning in very large to small kitchens and working with predetermined corporate menus to those designed in privately owned establishments; each allowing me the unique opportunity to see the options available, while extending my art degree and having fun with food.”

My position as Chef de Cuisine at FIVE has provided an environment that compliments those experiences and allows me to grow; a small kitchen mandating daily flexibility, teamwork, a unique product and encouraging creativity to enhance the flavors and color of our farm fresh ingredients.
